Our core philosophy centres around “Yi Fan Feng Shun”, which is a Chinese greeting that was used in wishing travelers and explorers luck and a prosperous voyage as they set sail in the 18th Century. We have expanded on this expression by promising that all who partner with us will experience a journey of growth, achievement and reward.
As the old saying goes, “a journey begins with a single step”. To overcome the obstacles which stand in the travellers way, the first boundary must be broken. Leonie Ellis assists both clients and candidates in taking the first of many steps which can lead to opportunity and achievement in all their forms. It is the practice of our team to act in the best interests of all involved, to nurture a climate of trust and reliability on all sides. Qualities which are further served by a close attention to informed, transparent and honest negotiations and processes every step of the way.
Both clients and candidates can experience this ethic of fairness through Leonie Ellis' Exchange Portal (see menu). The Exchange Portal has been specifically designed for both parties to have secure, password authenticated access in order to keep a close eye on the progress of potential candidates and career searches respectively.
Our involvement extends far beyond the initial match. After the selection process, through either our internet portal or by phone, we guide candidates safely to their new shore, ensuring that the anxiety of relocation is kept to a minimum and thus beneficial to both parties. During the first three months of employment, we will provide clear, useful feedback to both client and candidate.
From visions of far-off lands, intrepid explorers and the essential spirit of Chinese “prosperity ships” it is perhaps best to leave the apprehensive with a thought “If you want to build a ship, do not instruct the men to saw wood, stitch the sails, prepare the tools and organise the work, but make them long for setting sail and travel to distant lands. – Antoine De Saint-Exup.”
